Aid Krissy's Journey: Stage IV Mesothelioma

PLEASE HELP KRISSY AS SHE FACES A NEW CANCER BATTLE!
We are deeply saddened to share this news with you. In January 2025, Krissy was diagnosed with a very rare form of mesothelioma that began in her abdomen and has metastasized to her lungs making this stage IV cancer. There are only 3,000 cases in the United States per year and only 600 cases that start in the abdomen as hers did.
She began chemotherapy a few weeks ago, but was hospitalized for 2 weeks when her lungs filled with liquid. Despite several blood transfusions, her red and white cell counts remain low and we do not know if she will be able to continue treatment. She has been moved to a rehabilitation facility where she is working on regaining her strength.
Krissy lives in Vancouver, Washington. She is sweet, kind, creative and extremely optimistic! She adores animals and lives alone with her retired racing greyhound, Dory. At this time, she is unable to care for Dory who is staying with a foster family until Krissy is stronger.
Krissy has supported herself by pet sitting dogs and cats when their humans go on vacation. She has been building her clientele of loyal pups and kitties since 2020. She adores this job and all the love she receives from her furry friends.
We have set up this GoFundMe Page to help Krissy pay her rent, medical bills and living expenses. It's unbelievable that she is facing cancer again after her battle with breast cancer in 2020. We don't want her to be worried about finances as she gears up for another fight.
We are also setting up a Lotsa Helping Hands site called "Team Krissy" that will allow local friends to provide support by visiting, grocery shopping, preparing meals, driving her to appointments and helping with household tasks. We will share this site once it's complete.
If you are able, please help support Krissy. She is very appreciative and so are we. We will keep you updated on her progress. You can aslso leave Krissy a note on this site. Please feel free to share this fundraising effort with others. With much love and gratitude!!
