On the night of July 28th, Korina had a brain aneurysm and needed to be transferred to the University of Minnesota. Once she arrived, they determined that she needed surgery on her brain. There was a blood clot that had burst and another small one that was still intact. The surgery took 6 hours to do, but it was successful. She will be in the hospital for a couple of weeks to monitor her brain to make sure she is not susceptible to having a stroke.
Once she comes home, the chores of life and reality will be back at hand. We are looking to raise whatever we can to help with medical expenses and lost wages to help cover bills at home. Anything helps, and we deeply appreciate everyone who has reached out already and helped us in any way they can. Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you cannot donate, do not worry. Just please share so we can live comfortably while we try to navigate everything ahead.
Love, the Ellingsen and Mickelson family.
