My name is Kori Pierson and my husband had to have emergency surgery on 8-1-2025 to remove his left foot from the ankle down due to Necrotizing Fasciitis from a shard of glass that ended up in his foot.

They are not done, and he will need more surgeries to get him ready for a prosthetic leg. This was completely unexpected and will be a major financial drain on our family. I am going to be missing a lot of work to be with him for surgeries and his recovery.

We take care of our 7-year-old grandson Nate, and I'm afraid of how behind I'm going to end up because of gas money to travel to Gainesville, FL, and money to eat on. Any help would be appreciated. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers; this is going to be a long recovery.
