I normally don’t like asking for money, but I’m at the end of my rope. My cat (Kit) recently had to be taken to the emergency vet. She had a lot of blood coming out of a hole in her neck, and I didn’t know why. The vet said she had an abscess burst, and that’s why she was bleeding so much. They needed to sedate her, shave her, and stitch her up. She’s home now with at least a 14-day recovery ahead and medication three times a day for the pain and the infection. I’m happy she’s home, but now I also have a $1,500 vet bill that I have no clue how I’m going to pay. I’m already working two jobs. It makes me so uncomfortable to ask others for help, but at this point, it’s the best option I have, and even the tiniest bit of help would make a huge difference.
