Many of you know Kim Wilkerson Livingston, who happens to be my aunt. She has had quite a tough time over the last two years with some medical issues. First, cancer and the treatment that goes along with that. Then, after that, she fell and severely shattered her kneecap and broke the femur bone just above the knee. Extensive surgery was required, and a long recovery period was started. According to the surgeon, the cancer medication may have contributed to the severity of the break.
Six months later, when she was just able to start attempting to use her leg, attempting to put weight on it, she fell again on 7-16-25. As a result of the fall, there was a new break, but this time to her tibia on the same leg as the initial break.
We’re choosing to laugh with her through the frustration because if there’s one thing she hasn’t lost, it’s her sense of humor and strength.
As we can all imagine, with Kim being bedridden for much of the last year, Steve hasn’t been able to work as much as normal. At this time, the last thing they need to worry about are finances.
Prayers are appreciated—and if those prayers happen to come with a few dollars attached, even better.
I would ask anyone reading this to please consider donating to her and Steve to help them through this difficult time.
