Aid Brave Kitty Kenzo's Recovery After Emergency
Donation protected
After the passing of a much-loved friend, my husband and I had the honor of welcoming her sweet cats into our family. Hyper-adventurous kitty Kenzo, pictured here on the left next to his sister Kyoko, ingested a foreign object just two days before pet insurance eligibility! Any contribution toward the emergency bills and follow-up care would be immensely helpful.
These beautiful cats entered our lives just when we needed them, and they needed us! They spent much time alone during our friend’s battle with cancer and after she succumbed to it. Another friend - a true guardian angel! - endeavored even in her grief to take care of the kitties’ basic needs while she searched for a loving home for Kenzo and Kyoko.
They were distressed and confused as we brought them into their new forever home two weeks ago. Little by little they’re settling in as we shower them with love, care, attention, and treats, but it’s a work in progress for them to overcome their trauma and separation anxiety.
Part of Kenzo’s struggle to adjust shows up in the form of some impressive exploring and that foiled our best cat-proofing efforts - and we’re experienced cat parents! He is doing great and is in the best care - we know he’s going to be ok. The timing, two days before insurance kicked in, was unfortunate for us…we would appreciate your help to bring us back to financial stability so these two snuggle-bugs can thrive like they deserve. We will keep you apprised of the incredible journey of Prince Kenzo and Princess Kyoko!
Please share this incredible story of loss and newfound kitty love with your cat-loving friends. Many thanks and have a wonderful day ☀️
