Aid Kenny McMullen’s Medical Expenses

Hi, I’m Ariana and I’m creating this on behalf of my grandpa, Kenneth McMullen, or as most of you know him, Kenny.

On Friday night, 4/18, he experienced a 10 1/2 ft fall from the porch roof while he was shoveling snow off of the roof. My grandma was not home and did not witness the fall, but came home to find his pants ripped and him covered in mud. Later, his back pocket of his pants was found on a bolt on the roof of the porch, which indicated the location and height of the fall.

He was taken by ambulance to St. Thomas More, where it was confirmed that he suffered from several head injuries, including 3 bleeds inside his head. He was transferred by ambulance to Colorado Springs, where he now is residing, intubated and on a ventilator. Things have obviously progressively gotten worse over the past couple of days and expenses are stacking on my grandmother.

They have been together for over 50 years, and my grandma is a natural-born caretaker, but she cannot do it alone. I am doing my best to also commute back and forth while also working my full-time job as an EMT and being a mom. I’m asking for any help that we can get right now. My grandparents are both retired, and my grandpa was supplementing income by working part-time for the Gordon family at the car wash in Florence, which he loved doing so much.

My grandpa isn’t just my grandpa, he’s always been a dad to me. He helped raise me, and has always been my “built in best friend”. We need him here with us. I appreciate the continued prayers and support during this time, and I know my grandma does too.
