On October 30, Our father, Kenny Anderson had a series of heart attacks which led to a life flight trip to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines where he was intubated and on life support for the first 7 days in the CCU. He is currently in the recovery process after many tests and critical care. He has been dealing with some swelling, heavy brain fog, a fractured elbow, and some sleeping troubles amongst breathing issues. We are not sure what the future will hold but we are looking at a possible defibrillator and anywhere from 3-6 months of skilled care physical therapy. If any of you know my dad, he would never ask for help and we genuinely hoped it wouldn’t come to this, but finances are tight and everyone is exhausted. Mom has barely left the hospital, and my sister, Misty has spent many overnights and both have missed plenty of work to help the process. This will hopefully be able to help mom with medical bills, fuel, and food while she goes down this long road with dad. Thank you so much for supporting our family through this tough time.
