Hi, my name is Kelly. In 2023, I experienced a devastating fall in the shower. Just three days later, I collapsed again in our living room. My husband, Bill, found me unconscious and immediately called for an ambulance. At the hospital, doctors discovered I had a brain bleed. I underwent emergency surgery to insert a shunt, followed by another procedure to seal it.

The damage was life-altering. I now suffer from neuropathy and severe memory loss, which makes it impossible for me to work. Since then, our lives have been turned upside down. Bill was laid off the day before Christmas in 2024, and we’ve been struggling to stay afloat ever since.

We’re now facing eviction and are months behind on bills. Our son, Liam, starts school in just a few weeks, and we can’t afford clothes that fit him. We’re doing everything we can to hold on, but we’re at a breaking point.
