Kelly Ransdell is a devoted mother to two wonderful children: Scarlett, just 15 months old, and Rex, a vibrant 14-year-old. On December 17th, Kelly’s life changed forever when she was involved in a devastating car accident with a semi-truck. The family’s car was completely totaled in the crash, leaving them without a vehicle during this already difficult time. Kelly is currently in the ICU, recovering from emergency surgery to repair her aorta, along with severe leg and ankle injuries.

Kelly’s injuries are extensive, including multiple broken ribs, fractured vertebrae, a fractured nose and ocular bone, a brain bleed, and broken teeth that will require significant dental procedures. Her recovery journey will be long and challenging. As the primary breadwinner for her family, Kelly faces an uncertain future as she navigates both her health and financial stability. Her job with the post office is highly physical, and it will take significant time for her to return to work.
