Hello, my name is Kellie Martin, and back in April, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. From there, on May 21st, I had surgery to remove the tail end of my pancreas and my spleen in order to try and remove the cancer. Unfortunately, I have had many complications, been hospitalized 5 times, and am currently still in the hospital fighting infections. I still have to have chemo to make sure we do as much as we can to ensure the cancer doesn't come back. They want to hit it as aggressively as they can. In the meantime, I have been unable to work. I have been living with my brother and his girlfriend, who have graciously opened their home to take care of me.
