My precious friend Kayla Washer was badly injured in a car accident this past week, resulting in a broken hand, broken nose, an eye injury, concussion, and lots of cuts, scrapes, bruising, and swelling. She’s really sore and in a lot of pain, but her spirits are high, and she is grateful to be alive.

As many of you know, she is one of the most loving, tender-hearted, and kind people you will ever meet and would never ever want to burden or inconvenience anyone. That being said, as she recovers, she will have several Dr.'s appointments and will be out of work for several days, which will impact her ability to make rent and other expenses. As a single mama in this economy, this is a pretty significant blow. If you have the means to share financial support, it would be very much appreciated and a huge help. If not, prayers, cards, or even a call/text would mean the world to her.

It’s times like these we have an opportunity to pull together and show someone just how much they are loved, and if anyone ever deserved it, it would be Kayla. Please share and thank you for loving my friend.
