My name is Kathryn ,

I am in need of help, please share this or add anything you are able, I have been assisting my daughter and grandson as I can for their needs for over one year.

They are still making it work from sleeping in their car. This week they have gained approval for an apartment with first and last month rent and deposit. She will be applying for deposit assistance.

I am now trying to catch up on credit debt and loans.

I personally deal with a mood disorder and this situation has been hard to face. Recent last three weeks I have been sick with pneumonia and then it topped off with round II.

For them the weather is now into rain and snow in very low temperatures in the Pacific Northwest.

No funds for lodging, except open camp grounds which was tried, but not a good outcome with not the having appropriate gear, clothes and winter shoes. Sleeping in the shelter of their car.

Its hard to sleep in the elements of frost and clothing meant for the bay area.

It has taken near one year to get their certificate transferred to where they are.

This has hit me financially to hardship. I work full-time and serve our community and am grateful to be able to serve.

This is and has been an unknown process for them as well as not having a stable place to be. She has filled out apartment applications and has found barriers due to a past due utility bill.

In the positive, they are away from the perpetual violence and I am grateful.

I have hope to get the this struggle.
