Hello, my name is Karrine, and I’m a dedicated mother of two currently in my second trimester of nursing school. I’ve worked incredibly hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA, and I’m just one trimester away from achieving my dream of becoming a nurse.
Unfortunately, I’ve hit an unexpected financial roadblock. Due to an issue with my financial aid, my funding has been cut off, and I’m now being asked to pay $490 out of pocket in order to reinstate it and continue my education.
As a full-time student and mother, I’ve stretched every dollar to provide for my children and cover the basics. This sudden cost puts everything at risk — including my ability to graduate, sit for my boards, and begin a career that I’ve poured my heart and soul into.
This is more than just school for me. Becoming a nurse means stability for my family, a future for my children, and a chance to give back to others the way so many nurses have helped me and my loved ones over the years.
If you are able to donate — even a small amount — it would mean the world to me and my family. If you can’t give right now, I completely understand, and would be so grateful if you could share this fundraiser with others who might be able to help.
Thank you so much for reading my story and for supporting my journey.
With love and gratitude,
Karrine
