Hello Global Family,

My name is Deana Becker and I am doing this fundraiser for my sister Karen (Becker) Rodriguez. Karen has been dealing with medical issues that were continually getting misdiagnosed or improperly treated. She was in the Hospital for most of August, sent home with antibiotics, and then she became septic. She has since been admitted to a new hospital, Johns Hopkins, were they performed major surgery. Complications arose, which required additional surgical experts to be called in, and she ended up having a 10 hour surgery. In addition, Karen has undergone a blood transfusion. She is expected to recover, but will be disabled for the forceable future.

The first hospital where she was being treated sent her a huge bill that she needs help paying. Karen will be out of work for an extended period of time, so she will need help covering bills and in home care. If you can contribute any amount, it will be greatly appreciated.

I will keep you all posted on her recovery as soon as I'm updated.
