Aid JW Patterson's Journey to Health

My name is JW Patterson. I am trying to raise some funds to help with medical bills and living expenses. I am a Instructor at our local Technical trade school. In the Spring of 23 I had both knees replaced. Then in the last weekend of Sept last year I developed a infection in the left knee. From October to November was a real struggle mentally and physically. From issues with a local surgeon to having my original knee replacement surgeon take me back as a patient. On Christmas eve, my left knee joint was removed and a antibiotic spacer was put in with a metal bar from the tibia to the femur. I have not been able to bend my leg since then. We are looking at replacing the knee on the 17th of April, providing my blood work comes back good and the bones are still viable for the replacement. There is a possibility that the bones will not be viable and I could lose the lower leg. Due to this I have to pay the hospital $2800 out of pocket to meet my insurance deductible and this does not include any other expenses that come up. I have had friends and family help us out with donations at the beginning of the year this helped to cover $3000 out of pocket for IV antibiotic therapy. During this time my wife has been my sole care taker. She has to drive me everywhere, help me get dressed etc.. and she has been a blessing during this entire ordeal. With this knee removal I have lost over 10k in pay this semester which is taking its tole. I am still working but times are tough. We are struggling and the wife is doing the best she can along with working a second job. I am swallowing my pride and am asking for some help and a hand up.
