Hello Everyone, my son Justin Rodriguez has been in the hospital since Monday. Friday, September 5, we brought him to the ER because of stomach issues. They said it was gastrointestinal. They gave him meds and sent him home. Then on Monday, his tongue had a deep cut, so we went back to the ER. They said it was a mass on his tongue and he needed to go to the dentist to have a biopsy. (He has a broken tooth). We took him home Monday after the ER visit, and later that evening, he started hallucinating. I spent the night with him. He never went to sleep and was hearing voices and thinking people were all around him. I called 911 around 2 on Monday, and they took him to St. Francis. His potassium is very low still, and now he is throwing up. His kidneys are aggravated (this is the term that his doctor used). The reason for this GoFundMe is to help with his expenses. He does not get paid when he doesn’t work. It’s been almost 3 weeks without work. I don’t want him to worry about rent, utilities, etc. when he gets out of the hospital. I am not sure when he will be discharged, but based on how he is doing right now, it will not be today.
