My name is Jaylene and I am creating this on behalf of my family. My 15 year old brother Jorgie recently suffered a traumatic epidural hematoma, which was a life-threatening situation that required emergency brain surgery.

Everything that happened to him he did not deserve in the slightest. He is a bright kid with a love for being active and playing sports, however this has to be put on an abrupt pause due to an unimaginable event that has accrued. Thankfully the surgery was successful, but will have a very long recovery process.

My mom is a single mother who hates asking for help, but I feel we could really use it right now because of the unforeseen expenses and to alleviate some financial burden. I am currently a college student and try and help where I can, but it has been a very difficult year emotionally and financially.
