Hello, beloved members of Aiken Futbol Club, Family and Friends,
I am reaching out on behalf of our dear friend and fellow soccer enthusiast, Jonathan Bracco, and his family. Jonathan, along with his two children who are active members of our club, has been an integral part of Aiken Futbol Club since 2020. His children, a 2012 and a 2015 player, have brought joy and enthusiasm to our club, and Jonathan's unwavering support as a soccer parent has enriched our community.
In addition to his involvement with our club, Jonathan has devoted his time and energy to working with AT&T and selflessly volunteered at the Eureka Fire Department. His dedication to both his career and community service exemplifies the kind of person he is—a caring and selfless individual who always puts others first.
However, on March 1st, 2024, Jonathan's life was forever changed when he was involved in a devastating car accident on his way home from work. The injuries he sustained are extensive and severe:
- Two brain bleeds
- Bleeding around his spleen
- Broken collarbone and femur, with his femur shattered into six pieces
- Collapsed lung
- Multiple rib and spine fractures
- Eight ribs on his left side reinforced with titanium
Jonathan's injuries have required numerous surgeries and treatments. At one point, he had to be placed on a ventilator to assist with breathing. The road to recovery for Jonathan is long, challenging, and filled with uncertainties.
The financial burden of Jonathan's medical bills and ongoing care is overwhelming for his family. As a community that cares deeply for Jonathan, his children, and his contributions to our club, we are coming together to offer our support during this difficult time. Your donations will directly contribute to Jonathan's medical expenses, rehabilitation, and the care he needs to heal and regain his strength.
Jonathan has always been there for others, whether it was on the soccer field, at work, or in the community as a volunteer firefighter. Now, it's our turn to rally around him and his family in their time of need.
