Hello, we are the Brittons. John has been battling some health issues for the last few months that have gotten progressively worse. He is now unable to work for an undetermined amount of time, and while his supervisors are very understanding and willing to help, we are now facing the financial strain on top of his health concerns.

We live in a smaller city with only one hospital option. Getting a second opinion requires travel outside of our state and is needed desperately. Between the household, medical, and travel expenses, we are just needing some help to stay afloat while we work to find out what is going on with him.

John has been admitted to the hospital twice in the last 30 days, each time spending at least 2 days with no definitive answers on what is wrong. The probable diagnoses range from liver and kidney infection to sepsis to liver failure requiring a transplant. The need to see a doctor outside our area has become urgent.
