Last Thursday, my nephew, Joey Henderson, was in a horrific accident, leaving him with over 20%, 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his body. There is a possibility of him still needing surgery to his left arm. Blessed as his lungs and airways suffered zero burns.

By the Grace of God, he is still with us. No one should survive a 15,000-volt electrocution. He is our Handsome Miracle!!!

He is still at the LA Burn unit, one of the best in the world, with an amazing medical team. He has been moved from ICU and into a private room. Where he is enduring extensive pain management, burn treatments, being monitored for infection, and has started limited physical therapy.

This selfless young man has been more concerned over everyone else than himself. We have to keep reminding him to rest his mind and focus on his healing and recovery, which is going to be a long road!

He has such an amazing circle of family and friends praying for him, offering help to the family so they can be with him until he can come home.
