Aid Jimmy and Stephanie in Their Time of Need
Donation protected

Hello, I'm Jimmy and my wife is Stephanie. I have a service dog by the name of Duke. I was a law enforcement officer for 13 years and a volunteer firefighter for over 25 years. During those years of trying to help save lives, I saw and witnessed a lot of bad stuff. This led to me being diagnosed with PTSD. A couple of months ago, my mental health provider recommended I get an emotional support/service animal. I got Duke and since then have started getting better, and also trained him to indicate and respond to my triggers. When I notified my landlord I had him, he told me no pets were allowed. I tried to explain to him that he was recommended by my mental health provider, and per ADA, I couldn't be discriminated against.
2 days ago, I came home and found an eviction notice, requiring me to get rid of Duke or vacate in 7 days. My wife is in bad health and unable to work. I am the only person able to work, and my health is declining rapidly. We barely scrape by. We don't have money to buy groceries, much less come up with a month of rent plus a security deposit for a new place to live. Can you please help us lighten the burden just a little? God bless you. Thank you everyone who has already donated you all are truly appreciated.
