Last journey. My name is Jim Alexander, and I live in Raton, NM. It's a small town, so all the doctors are usually 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours away at least. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2014 and was able to pay for all travels, rooms, and food. I was let go in 2022 due to my medical condition, and now all I have is Medicare. I got Medicaid but lost that when I turned 65, and I got disability that I lost when I turned 67.

Since I was diagnosed, my cancer has metastasized to my lymph nodes in my stomach and throat, and I am now in chronic heart failure. Now my liver is messing up, and it seems I'm in the hospital or flown out on a flight for life every week or every other week. When we have appointments out of town, we can no longer get a room to stay in, so we leave so early in the morning, and that's too hard on me. So I'm asking for your generosity in helping me to pay for rooms, food, medicines, and now we are about to lose our house, and we only have 2 1/2 years left to pay it off. My car is acting up, and I owe a bundle just in the helicopter flight for life and medical bills. Plus, I have incontinence issues, and they gave me up to two years to live, so there will be funeral expenses, and my wife is going to need help as it's almost impossible to get life insurance once they hear the word cancer. So with that said, we would be blessed to have your blessings and help us afford to live what time I have left comfortably.
