This GFM will now all be going to support my Dad, John and his cancer journey. He is currently diagnosed with metastatic skin cancer and has been in and out of the hospital the last few weeks. He has started chemotherapy as of last week. Any donations to this fundraiser will be going directly to him to cover medical bills and other bills while he is out of work. Most of you know my story, being through 3 rounds of surgery for Ovarian cancer over the past 16 years, losing my love, Tom, just 2 and a half months after our marriage, and now going through Uterine Cancer. Shortly after scheduling surgery for the uterine cancer diagnosis, I also learned that I will need 3 teeth pulled and dental bridges or implants as well. All of this while attempting to keep up with everyday bills. I'm horrible at asking for help but know it is needed. I will be out of work for 8-10 weeks to recover from surgery and while I will be on STD, it will be only be a percentage of my pay. It's a struggle now keeping up with the current medical bills from the last 6months of appointments, let alone what's to come, and would truly be greatful for any help to get through the next few months. I'm always there to help other and give me own heart out when they are in need. This time, it's my time to be the one in need. Anything is appreciated and I hope to one day be able to return the favor to you all!
