Aid Jessica Bleile's Recovery and Family

My name is Barbara and I'm trying to help my cousin Jessica Bleile and her family with her medical bills and travel expenses as Eddie and their son have to travel back and forth. Both Eddie and Jessica are unable to work for the time being.

On March 10th, 2025, around 8:30 am, Jessica went to the bathroom when she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her head. She held her head and suddenly collapsed, making her hit the floor hard.

Eddie then rushed her to the Cedar Falls hospital where they had to do a bunch of testing. When they did the CT scan, they unfortunately found out her brain was bleeding from a burst blood vessel. She was then airlifted to Iowa City where she was admitted to the ICU.

She got to Iowa City, and that night they had to do a procedure to get the pressure from the brain down and to drain the fluids. The next day, they had a surgery procedure to fix the vessel. When they were fixing the vessel, they found a blood clot, so they had to take care of that as well, which caused her to go without oxygen for over an hour, which isn't good.

After that, they have had to watch her closely every hour for signs of a stroke and other side effects from the injury.

The aneurysm was on the right side of her brain, which brought worry for her physical state.

She has had some good days and bad days, but the doctors are very impressed with how she's doing!

She will be in the hospital for a while still but is ready to be home with her family and cats!
