Hi, my name is Jesse. I am a disabled individual facing some financial difficulties. I was diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenic Affective Disorder and suffered from the years 2015 through early 2025 when I finally managed to stabilize. In that time I was in and out of the hospital countless times, and even suffered a seizure where I lost the front part of my tongue and now have a permanent lisp. My only income is disability income monthly, I did not work enough prior to becoming disabled to receive an amount to live with ongoing bills and expenditures.

When I came to from my illness, I found myself in deep (but not too deep) debt, but it's enough that I can barely afford to pay my bills and still afford a full month's worth of food. While ill, I would just buy things on a whim and decided to leave it as a problem for future me. Well, this is future me now, and it is a really big problem. I can't afford new or even gently used clothing, I can't afford to replace anything that is broken or breaks on me, and I can't afford transportation to go anywhere that isn't doctors or the like.

For transparency I am currently $11,000 in debt due to decisions made while I was struggling with my diagnosis. I am receiving medical treatment and am now on a treatment plan that actually works for me.

With this newfound clarity, I am asking for financial assistance. Paying off a portion of what I owe each month, or paying off the full debt would alleviate a lot of stress and anxiety that I go through each month, as well as enable to ensure I can afford a full month's worth of food, and be able to get new clothing as needed.

With what little I can afford, I like to subscribe to services that enable me to create art and music for others tailored specifically to them, whether they be ill, financially struggling themselves, or just can't afford or know how to do these things themselves. I do this as an act of charity myself. I haven't charged for what I make and don't even know how to go about doing so to help myself.
