While helping a friend remove some trees from his property, Jerry Moore sustained a serious leg injury resulting in a complete disruption of his achilles tendon, and additional serious injuries to major tendons within the ankle.

Jerry has given his life to the service of others, including firefighting, 911 dispatch, and his favorite gig - fatherhood. He is a man of integrity and his friendship is valued by all who have met him.

Jerry’s first surgery will be on May 15, and will be quite extensive. In addition to surgery, Jerry is facing a lengthly recovery period including PT to help him gain mobility. He is presumed to have an extended absence from work (911 dispatch) which is strenuous on any household, especially financially.
