Aid Jeremy's Healing Journey
Donation protected
On March 26th, Jeremy went to his scheduled dental appointment to have his left wisdom tooth roots removed. On April 1st, he was in so much pain that he couldn't swallow and was having a hard time breathing, so he went to the emergency room in Vernal, Utah, where they decided to run some tests. They found an abscess infection in the bottom of his jaw that was growing at an alarming rate from the removal. This infection was then pushing his airways to close. The Vernal ER doctors decided they needed to intubate him immediately and life flight him to the ENT team at the University of Utah hospital.
While being sedated, his heart started to become a concern. The cardiologist decided to run a few tests and found that his heart was only functioning at 20-25% and was in heart failure. He has now been put on multiple medications to help increase his heart function and will need to submit multiple blood tests a month as well as travel 3 hours to see his cardiovascular team.
The Judd family just moved to Vernal a couple of months ago for a great job opportunity for Jeremy, but unfortunately, his health insurance has not started yet. They have a long road of recovery ahead of them plus lots of expenses, all while having 4 boys to take care of at home. Any little bit will help them get through this rough time and help Jeremy on his road to recovery.
