My friend Jennifer is facing a hard battle. For the last few years, she has aggressively fought a very lethal cancer through 6 months of chemo, 25 radiation sessions, cross-country surgical procedures, more than a dozen MRIs, CTs, and a dozen colonoscopies. As a single mom, loving and devoted to her little boy, she has faced her illness head-on and done everything she can to give him a happy, healthy childhood - and be present for it.

Now she faces a major, life-altering surgery to fight recurrent cancer with a very long recovery. She will be unable to work (or sit) for months of healing and will need a professional caregiver and new medical therapies and supplies not covered by insurance, though her incredibly generous employer and coworkers have shown up like a force field for her.

Your support will help her:

— hire a caregiver during the weeks she is unable to walk, get up, sit, drive, shower, dress, bend over, lift, squat, etc.

— pay for new medical equipment

— pay for out-of-pocket therapies

— hire a dog walker

— every day expenses that don’t quit for cancer
