I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my partner, Jenoa, who underwent top surgery on January 16th, 2025—a significant step in their transition. What was already going to be a challenging recovery period has become even more difficult due to the recent LA fires, which have affected so many in our community. As a beloved member of our community, I would love to help ease this time for them.

Several jobs they had scheduled before surgery were canceled due to the wildfires. With the incoming administration threatening trans healthcare, Jenoa decided to proceed with the surgery as originally scheduled. This is why we are asking for your help. Jenoa is committed to supporting those impacted by the wildfires and, once recovered, looks forward to returning to their work, offering healing to those suffering from this crisis.

This campaign is essential to help cover:

• Medical expenses: medications and associated costs not covered by insurance

• Recovery expenses: post-surgery care and rest

• Living expenses: daily needs while Jenoa takes time off work to heal - 6 weeks minimum
