Aid Jenn's Daughter's Fight for Recovery

This is Carly and Shereese. We are starting this for our dear friend and coworker Jenn, whose daughter has been in the hospital for several weeks.

The beginning started Sunday night, March 2. They went to the ER and found that Jenn’s daughter was having a gallbladder attack that quickly progressed into a gallstone blockage, which ultimately led to pancreatitis. She’s had to have three procedures to place a feeding tube as well as drain fluid from the abdomen. During the course of her recovery, she has encountered many setbacks and complications, including pneumonia and becoming very ill with an antibiotic-resistant infection. Consequently, she is now suffering from an acute kidney injury that’s requiring dialysis. She’s having to stay sedated because she is intubated and fighting to get through this.

Jenn and her husband are juggling three siblings at home and their daily needs as well as trying to be in Indianapolis to be with their daughter, but they are forced to come into work to pay the bills as they continue to pile up. Any help that could be given so that they’re able to be there, not only to be with their daughter, but also oversee medical decisions that are necessary and changing daily, would be greatly appreciated.
