Hi y'all. My name is Jenni Roby and I am making this GoFundMe as a last resort to keep my business, Perfect Scenario, open and running. do not have resources and have reached out to everyone that I was able to. This is not an easy way out for me (If I even raise anything), it is extremely difficult for me to ask for help. I always try and do everything independently. I created Perfect Scenario to be something good for our community; providing a safe space for teens after school, a play area for the little ones to be supervised while parents work while on site, a commission free gift shop to allow local artist to show off their talents and an event space to give the community a place for events and parties! We even made some super cool local, food sponsors.

A little back story to help everyone understand; I became sick in the Fall of 2024 and I have never really gotten better. I have spent almost a year getting tested, scanned, sent to specialist after specialist and getting a new diagnosis or them finding a new tumor every time. It's not cancer, but a collection of underdiagnosed and rare loose connective tissue conditions that have damaged my lungs & have made it not only hard to work as a registered nurse, but to also care for my family as I am and have to be the primary bread winner. They have also found a right breast & lung nodule that will require closer monitoring.

After having surgery for a bleeding condition in January, I would be put on medical leave for multiple months. I decided that I needed to start a business because none of the 50+ non bedside nurse positions would even give me a call for an interview. (Which was strange as I have been a RN for 10 years with a ton of knowledge and experience). I found a building that was perfect and put down my deposit.

I used all of my savings to start fixing the place up and getting all of my permits in order to open. I had help from a few people to help with physical aspects and I had a head full of ideas which came all together, and we opened July 11th! Everyone who comes into our place, whether it be for a live music show or to play in our children's area, love it!!

I have unfortunately run out of time! I have had a few people take advantage of our kindness, which combined with me being unable to work for so long, has led us here.

Customers are slowly starting to trickle in, and we anticipate that we will always be busy or booked in the fall if we get the financial help that we need now. We have gotten to the point where we have no money to put into the business or to afford our employees.

I have thankfully found a new nursing job that works with my disability, allows me to keep my insurance and have finally started working again; but we are now so incredibly behind on EVERYTHING we need in order to be successful that I can never be at my own business. My husband has taken over day-to-day operations all while taking care of our 5 children and dog so I can work.

I know that the business is my idea, but I really think it will be great for not only my family, but many families in the area who are in need.

We just need help to get ahead & promise the money will help a lot of people and save our family's life.
