Aid Jenna's Journey to Overcome Breast Cancer
Donation protected
My sister is a devoted social worker, mother of a two year-old and a newborn, and a wife. She was diagnosed with Stage II Breast Cancer when 28 weeks pregnant. She had to make the hard decision to start chemotherapy at 31 weeks pregnant since the cancer went to her lymph nodes. She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy shortly after. Due to the intense chemo treatments and complications she and her family needs help with childcare, in-home services, and assistance with the financial burden of her medical care. Her husband needs to work as he is their only source of income but it is much to handle a toddler and a newborn alone. Following chemo, Jenna will undergo a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery followed by radiation therapy. This is a long road for my sister and her family and she can use all the help and support. If you know my sister, she has the biggest heart and is one of the hardest workers I know. For her to need this level of support is difficult but she and her family shouldn’t struggle. Any little bit counts and means the world to the family.
