On December 23, 2024, my good friend Jenna Sherman, whom many of you know as a former security guard at HH Deer Valley, brought her 19-month-old son Asher to the hospital with difficulty breathing and decompensating RSV, but she was sent home and told she was overreacting. On December 25, 2024, Asher went into cardiac arrest after several doctors struggled to intubate him. Asher was resuscitated successfully but is now at PCH with pneumonia on top of RSV. Jenna is unable to work as she does not want to leave Asher’s side. Her current job is pressuring her to quit.
