Jason and Jenn's Medical Recovery
Donation protected
Hello! I am a friend of Jason and Jenn, and they have had a whirlwind of life changes in the past 2 weeks! First starting the birth of their brand new baby daughter Maisie. Maisie's birth went fine, however, Jenn needed to have a second immediate surgery after just having a c-section due to an unresolved hematoma and was bleeding internally. Due to her needing care and being unable to do so for herself, Jason had taken off of work to bond with his new daughter but then to also help Jenn in her recovery.
As things happen, and life is life, Jason began to not feel well and was in some immense pain. Being the father and man that he is, he tried not paying it any mind until he could no longer take it and went into the ER. There he found out he would need to have his own surgery (which is scheduled in the upcoming weeks here) due to his diverticulitis. It caused a perforation in his intestines which had caused him to almost go septic had he not gotten himself into the emergency room when he did. And very likely could wind up into multiple surgeries if things don't pan out as doctors hope.
Due to this impending surgery, Jason will now have to take off more work for his own recovery and health. With that being said, Jason is the primary bread winner and with neither being able to currently work, the bills are going to start piling up, along with groceries, baby needs, medical needs, etc and they now have 5 kids to create Christmas for.
We're but a week away from Christmas, and when times have been tough for us all, I am hoping we can come together to help a great and wonderful family in need this Christmas season to lighten the load for the holidays. The birth of a new baby should not be this stressful. Thank you for taking the time to read and please share!
**all proceeds will go directly to Jenn and Jason for the upkeep of their home and family while both are down and recovering**
