On Father's Day, the world lost a wonderful man full of love, friendship, and integrity. My name is Lisa Cornish, and this amazing human being we lost was my longtime friend Jeff Vaughn. Jeff would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it without expecting anything in return. His work ethic, integrity, kindness, humor, and family values touched and impacted everyone he came in contact with. The world is a much sadder place with the loss of our friend and mentor.

Jeff was a proud man who would never ask for help for himself. He kept his illness under wraps for as long as he could, hoping to go into remission and so as not to cause anyone to worry. Only a few truly knew the seriousness of the illness. Jeff fought long and hard with his amazing family always by his side. He was so thankful for their unwavering love and support.

Jeff was always one to do for others and not one to take help. However, Jeff loved his family fiercely. I am sure he would not want his family struggling financially or in debt because of his illness and passing. He would want them to be okay. The service was held on June 30. It had to be paid by macing out a credit card.

In honor of Jeff and the tremendous love he had for his family and friends, I am asking for donations to help defray the cost of his service and bills that have added up. Jeff has made a lasting impact on so many people: coworkers, employees, vendors, customers, and strangers who all became part of his family. If you are able, please give what you can so he can truly rest in peace knowing we are taking care of his family as he always did ours.
