As many of you know, two weeks ago I broke my fibula while trying to catch a ball during a softball game. Unfortunately, the momentum from the play caused me to land awkwardly, and the impact snapped my leg.

Now that the surgery is complete, I’ve been told I’ll be out of work for 4–6 months to recover and go through physical therapy. At this time, it’s uncertain when—or if—I’ll be able to return to work part-time.

If you know us well, you know that Nicole and I are not the type to ask for help. However, with a mortgage to pay, medical bills, and other unexpected expenses, we’ve found ourselves in a difficult position and realize we can’t do this alone.
