Many of you know Jeanette Fleming, the founder and heart and soul of this page AIKEN INFORMATION, suffered an unfortunate fall.

She created and launched this page during COVID, offering vital updates, support, and community connection when we needed it most. Today, it has blossomed into a helpful and useful resource for many. With more than 17,000 followers and supporters!! I know many of us have turned to "Aiken Information" for help with a contractor, the weather or just a connection with others. For that we are thankful.

Jeanette continues to run the page today, although it's harder physically to do. Her employment has included jobs in clinics and with other organizations that help those in need. She knows that "giving" is the blessing. She is so anxious to get back to work but her healing journey is not over. She still can't walk unassisted and can't drive right now, so her options are limited. She's improving daily and is thankful for all of your support.

Now, Jeanette needs our help for a short term!

Recently, while walking her 2 precious dogs, Gracie and Bella, she fell and broke her femur and fractured her wrist trying to catch her fall. This resulted in a stay in the hospital, emergency surgery (with metal screws in her leg), and a long, painful road to recovery. She's now starting to get around with a walker but is unable to manage basic tasks on her own. It will be a while until she can walk unassisted and drive to return to her normal full-time work.

While she tries to focus on her healing, her bills are piling up. Her needs are basic and simple: help with rent, food, medications, and daily essentials. She's always been here for us, and now it's our turn to give back and be there for her.
