Aid Jean Marie Smith in Her Road to Recovery

Hello everybody! I am Elsie, General Manager of Kelly's Little Nipper! I am making this Go Fund Me for Jean Marie Smith, one of our beloved cooks and dear friend. If you don't know Jean then I will fill you in a little bit on her lovely self. Jean is an ornery, fun, loving lady. She provides for the entire family so her being out of work was not something they ever imagined. It would make day to day life harder and financially not allow her to ever recover.

In late October of 2024 she took a spill on some broken cement and caused a serious dislocation and several fractures to her left ankle. Had to have emergency surgery. 12 screws and 2 plates. Her incisions did not heal due to complications from soft tissue keeping her from receiving a cast. Fast forward to New Years, she took a spill in her home and her left leg got tangled in the walker, causing a spiral fracture in her left leg above her ankle hardware. Back to the doctor we went. Her 6 week injury just became the 6 weeks plus at least 8 more weeks. Fast forward to last week after over 30 doctor appointments, one surgery with a new one on the radar, and many weeks of physical therapy coming up. We are 4 months into her not being able to work and have at least 6-8 more weeks off that we are aware of. She is anxious to get back to herself and back to working at the Nipper. She misses everyone ALOT. These funds will take SOME of the pressure off everything that is going on with Jean Marie. Please help us get her on her feet.
