Hello, I am raising funds to help my niece's husband, Javier Acosta. While cutting down a tree to earn money to continue their home rebuild, Javier fell 30ft breaking his back L2 & L3 which will require a plate, shattered his right wrist, broke his left wrist, has severe soft tissue damage to his left ankle, along with multiple lacerations and bruises. He is currently in ICU awaiting multiple surgeries. He provides the only income for his family. His wife, my niece Jessica, is disabled and cannot work. Javier will be out of work at least 12 weeks and his health insurance is minimal leaving them with what will be an astronomical medical debt. Please consider helping them out. They have been through more than most folks could bear in the last 6 years when a home invasion resulted in their home being condemned. They just started the rebuild in April and there is still a ton of work to be done. Contractors have caused even more issues, and Javier has had to fix many many mistakes himself. Now, the rebuild will be halted. They have no kitchen plumbing at this point and Javier will not be able to install it now. They currently have to wash dishes in the shower. They also have incomplete electrical connections and incomplete bathroom plumbing. They are in a very bad predicament. We have inquired into a claim on the homeowners insurance policy but were denied.
Javier & Jessica live in Fort Walton Beach FL and are a sweet Christian couple who serve God and live their lives for Him! They have a Capuchin Monkey who is basically their "daughter" because Jessica was unable to have children after a devastating accident at age 15 where her back was also broken and her ankle shattered. Bella has provided many opportunities for Jessica to witness about her faith in God for her recovery. Maybe you can help with their latest tragedy? They trust that somehow; God will see them through this. Can you help?
Thank you for any help you can provide.
