Aid Jamison's Final Step to Recovery

I created this fundraiser to help my neighbor Jamison Edwards through hopefully her last step in recovering from breast cancer. In November of 2023 my sweet neighbor, and friend, mother, and wife was faced with a terrifying diagnosis of breast cancer. After a double mastectomy, followed with radiation, early menopause was induced by an oophorectomy (removal of ovaries) because her type of cancer was fueled by estrogen. Smack in the middle of all this she was hospitalized with AFib where they diagnosed her with Graves disease. All this while just starting her career as a mental health counselor. While she loves her work, unfortunately, if she misses a day she doesn’t get paid. So she has no available sick time and has the added financial pressure of student loan payments. It’s been quite a year. Financially she hasn’t recovered from all that, and now is having reconstruction surgery on October 23, 2024 and needs help with expenses through the recovery phase. She has been putting off the radioactive iodine treatment her doctor recommends for her thyroid, due to her current situation. This would be overwhelming for anyone to deal with. Please help her out. She spends her days helping others and is a loving mother to a fantastic little boy. Thank you for anything you can do to help Jamison.
