Aid Jamie's Effort to Relocate His Mom
Donation protected
Hi there, helping out our friend Jamie and his Mom, Linda, on this difficult medical journey and move from Texas to Los Angeles in the next couple weeks ahead.
Linda Avera, 74, has been struggling with Dementia this last year, and recently left her Texas apartment and wandered two miles on her own. She eventually fell in the middle of the street and sustained a fractured arm, shoulder, and brusied her face pretty badly.
Since the accident she has been in a rehab facility and unfortunately is no longer able to live on her own. Jamie is taking on the responsibililty to retrieve her and transfer her to a Nursing Home in LA because even if she was in the best facility in Texas, it's just not good for her to remain there without any family to visit regularly; especially with her having dementia.
Jamie is juggling all stipulations, limitatations, and timelines of his Mom's medical bills and coverage. Linda is currently in a facility and Jamie needs to travel out there since she's on her own. Jamie also needs to move her out of her home before month end.
You have read his social media post and need for a helping hand so here is a way you can donate to help our friend out.
"My Mom is the last semblance of any sense of "family" that I've been able to see on even a semi-regular basis. She has held my heart since I was a baby boy. The idea of returning to her apartment and having to discard or even donate her possessions feels like I'm dismantling her existence on top of already losing her slowly. I'm heartbroken."
Thank you for your support!
