Dear fellow law enforcement personnel, first responders, family and friends! This is my loving husband, James Saunders Jr. He is a proud retired detention deputy sheriff from Flagler County, FL. All who know James, know he has always been a hard working, reliable, extremely honest and generous person. He is known fondly and respected by former workmates, friends, family members and even former inmates because of his unwavering decency and kindness. Well, now James needs a little help. Two years ago, in October 2023 he was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. He’s been through surgeries and treatment ever since. The good news is the cancer is stable, not active. But the treatments must continue. The bad news is the out of pocket expense (after insurance) has been excessive, far above our ability to keep up with payments.
