My name is James Ryan, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times of my life. Recently, I lost my father, who I also shared a bank account with. His passing has left me devastated emotionally, and also struggling financially in ways I never expected.

When my father passed, I had to pay out of pocket for his cremation services. I did this because I wanted to make sure he was honored with dignity, but it left me drained financially. On top of that, the joint account we shared has gone into the negative, adding even more stress during an already heartbreaking time.

Now I am also behind on my car payments and in danger of having my car repossessed. My car is my only means of transportation for work, errands, and appointments, and losing it would make an already difficult situation so much harder.

I’ve always tried to carry my own burdens, but right now I need help to get through this storm. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering the cost of my father’s cremation that I had to pay, keeping my car from being repossessed, and bringing my account back into the positive so I can start rebuilding my life.
