Aid Jackie Lugo's stroke recovery & help her cats
Donation protected
My mom, Jackie Lugo, has been a Godsend to the cat rescue community of Culver City and greater Los Angeles. She is also one of the sweetest humans on the planet and an amazing Mom. She founded Felines & Friends in the 80's and has rescued and placed thousands and thousands of furry felines with their forever homes. During all of that, she maintained a successful career working for MGM publicity, KTLA Television and then for twenty years, she was the right hand to the Mayor of Hollywood, Johnny Grant. She has since worked for the Hollywood Historic Trust and maintained the Walk of Fame. She has helped so many felines and humans in her life, there are far too many to count.
On Monday of last week, my mom had a stroke. She has been in Cedars Sinai recovering ever since, and is going to have a bit of a road ahead of her with physical and occupational therapy. I am asking for funds to help my Mom be able to come home and continue to care for the animals she so loves and adores. The animals she has tirelessly rescued, cared for and maintained for all these years. My Mom says the cats are her life. She has purpose in taking care of these furry beings. I want to help get her medical bills paid and house prepared to allow her to come home and continue to do what she loves. The funds will go to her medical bills, getting into her home and making it more accessible for her to come home and care for her beloved felines and get her back on her feet.
