Help Islay’s Family Recover After Devastating House Fire

UPDATE ONE:

Positive: My cousin Islay and Jesse have had a ton of local help to keep them on their feet and help them move forward.

Negative: due to this set back, plus the fact that not too long ago Islay had also suffered a major car accident which put her out of work, their savings for their down payment to get the new house built has been depleted. My goal is to raise roughly half of their down payment. So I’m hoping we can get at least $3,500. (there was no renter’s insurance)

ORIGINAL: Early this morning, my cousin Islay, her husband Jesse, and their two boys, Steven and Cody, lost everything in a house fire. While they were already in the process of building a new home, this tragedy has left them without belongings and facing significant unexpected expenses.
