Hi, and thank you for taking the time to read this! My name is Anthony Walker, a makeup artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. In the month of August, I recovered from homelessness after living in my car for almost three months due to not being able to find a landlord to accept my application, despite being employed and having verifiable income. I thankfully was able to traverse this period of time thanks to the previous funding raised! However, my current roommates are now vacating the space and I will be left to cover the rent of $1300 of which I cannot afford at this time, and my leasing company will not either. It is for that reason I am seeking to raise $2000 in order to cover the month’s rent for the vacated space, as well as any additional prorated days in case a roomate is not able to be found in time— as ideally I’d like to not be homeless twice in one year, this time during the peak of winter.
