Aid in Clearing Debt for Discernment Journey

+JMJ For your glory, Lord!

Hey! You may have noticed, I am fully funded! Woohoo! You can still read my story below, but if you wish to further support me, please support the little brothers' and little sisters' newest project! St. Joseph House: a guesthouse on the little brothers' property. Please send your tax-deductible donation to the Little Brothers of the Lamb at 921 Homer Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66101.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Let us follow the Lamb of God, wherever He goes!", the little sisters and little brothers sang one cold, Monday night in January. "For He has the words of everlasting life!" These words struck my heart and have brought me great peace. They were a great light in the midst of the cold dark winter. My number one goal, my only priority is to be close to Jesus both in this life and in the next. I have been following Jesus, the Lamb of God, and He has led me to Lumen Christi monastery in Kansas City. It is in this beautiful, incense-filled, monastery where I find overwhelming peace and joy! It is there where He unleashes grace upon grace, more abundantly than water coming from a firehose. It is here that He has blessed me and asked me to be.

I desire to live with the little sisters, living life with the joy and simplicity they do, to encounter Jesus daily in the Word of God and in the Mass, to "ponder all these things in my heart" like our Blessed Mother Mary, encountering the poor, and to live a life founded on the Heavenly Father's providence. I will be entering their "school of life" in January where I will live with them discerning if Jesus the Lamb, wants me to stay for life. But I cannot stay if I have student debt. This is where I beg your help!

Before school of life, I will be actively working and fundraising to pay off my student debt. I have a number of part time jobs in childcare I will be working from September-December. It is my goal to be fully funded before Christmas this year. Once I enter school of life in January, I will not be able to fundraise as easily while living in the monastery (For example, if I were to login to GoFundMe on the monastery computer, it will send a verification code to my phone in St. Louis which would be problematic). It is imperative I fundraise as much as possible before school of life begins, so I can keep my focus on school of life, not on fundraising. Will you prayerfully consider supporting me? Will you consider helping me follow the Lamb of God, wherever He goes? Any donation amount is helpful*****, whether it is a onetime donation or a monthly donation. Any little bit is helpful, even $10. Some people prefer a one-time donation that is a bit larger: this is extremely helpful as it keeps interest from accruing. I have two loans to be paid off. One is large, a little less than 30k. I am charged about $5 in interest every day on this loan. The other loan is a smaller, subsidized loan for 5.5k. I am not yet charged interest on this loan. All funds go directly to my loan. GoFundMe sends me funds once a month, and when I receive them, I send all of it to my loan. As soon as my loans are paid off, I will turn off all donations. Fear not, my prayers for my supporters will never be "turned off". I am grateful for your generosity; it allows me to say yes to Jesus!

"Jesus said to His disciples, 'The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few. So, ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.'" (Matthew 9:37-38) We pray for vocations daily in the Church. But are we willing to pair our prayers with actions? I took action by saying yes to this invitation from the Lord and by letting it interrupt my plans. Will you support this action I took by taking action yourself?

Please know of my prayers, and please pray for me! May God bless you abundantly and provide for your every need. Mary, Mother of Divine Providence, pray for us!
