Aid Honor's Journey to Gender Affirmation

Donation protected
Hi, I'm Honor a trans non-binary individual. I feel like I have lived many lives but found myself here in Seattle. I speant 9 years in the military as a closeted lesbian. I came out as trans in 2018, at the age of 37, and began transitioning that year. It has taken me a long time to find myself and along the way I found community and that continues to grow.

I started my gender affirming care for bottom surgery 4 years ago and on Nov. 14th, 2025, I am scheduled for metoidplasty. I just graduated with my MSW and now work as a HIV case manager in a low barrier HIV clinic about a year ago.

Now that my surgery is scheduled, I find myself with limited time off and it will be a 6 week recovery period. I am turning to community for some support while I navigate this. This surgery will be a last major hurdle in my gender affirming journey. Any donations will go to my surgery cost and lost income while I recover. The ability to recover while being able to afford the cost of living will help that burden.

I will continue to update this page as I start this journey. Fell free to share this page with friends and community.
