I'm Hernan Moreno and 24 years old, and this past May I was diagnosed with cancer. Over the past three years I've been struggling with neck problems as it gradually grew to about five times as large until I could finally get it checked out. Despite dozens of complications from my insurance since January trying to be seen by anyone, I was finally able to get my neck biopsied to unfortunately be told I had Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Now I'm currently going through chemotherapy while being injected with some of the most volatile drugs for treatment. As a result, I have been struggling mentally, physically, and financially to keep up as the sessions make me very sick and nauseous every other week, my hair has already started falling out, and I still regularly work full time to not fall behind on rent, student loans, and medical debts. Due to this, I've been stressed as I can't afford to take time off to rest for long after appointments, go on vacation for more than just the holidays, or even enjoy my life without feeling guilty that I'm wasting my own money on myself.

As a recent college graduate, this is not how I expected to be spending the start of my adult life. I have the support of my family back home by Houston, but they are working just as hard for my younger siblings to have everything they need and cover some of my expenses. I'm praying for a miracle for any support from anyone who can donate to help alleviate this burden on my life to any extent and wish to thank everyone who can share this to others to spread awareness for my cause.
